Bought a 2003 Tundra SR5 2wd, trying to program the keyless entry. I checked with Toyota and it came with keyless but no alarm system. The YouTube videos and instructions I’ve found are only for those models with alarms. I’ve taken the bottom off the dash apart and the module is not there and tried the sequence method; neither work. Suggestions? I have remote FCC ID: BAB237131-056, which is what the dealer said was correct.

Yes. The topic is one of many covered in this sticky thread at the top of the forum's sticky thread list.

I recommend you read the whole thread, but for current problem, skip to the section "Electrical stuff ... and keys"

Check the 4th bullet point in that section, but maybe take a sec to read the whole "Electrical stuff ... and keys" section first?

PS - BAB237131-056 fob means you have the RS3200 system, it's much easier to program (vs RS3000), no hackery required. No dash removal required. Just a the key.

PSS - Be sure to follow the instructions to purge all previously paired remotes before attempting to program a new one, if you don't have any old ones.

I used this info to try and add a new fob (I already had one that works). Everything worked the way it was supposed to, but at the end of the process I got the signal for fob not accepted. No doubt there were others in memory (capacity = 4), but I'm afraid to reset all the fobs. I already have one that works. I've read numerous accounts of guys that have blow away the installed fobs, then failed to reinstall.

I had to blow away all my fobs and add three. I didn't have any issues. But I guess if others had it happen, be careful?

I had no choice. When I went to program mine, it had reached capacity and I couldn't add any more.
