Had a platinum sequoia that had memory seats that could be synced to key fob 1 and 2. switched to the platinum tundra to pull a camper since kids grew up and just the 2 of us and am having problems syncing the key fob to memory 1 and 2 for the each of us. the manual states that it can be done by pressing the unlock on the key fob at the same time as pressing memory 1 or 2 but no confirmation beep happens. it was a breeze on the sequoia. anyone else having this problem with the platinum 2018 tundra? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Took it into dealer and they said they don’t know why it isn’t working. So far no luck. Even asked “the fist bump guy” off YouTube and he hasn’t been able to try working with 2018 platinum tundra. I would love it if it would work though. I’m 6’5” and spouce is 5’9”.

'16 Platinum...My fobs used to be registered, but not after disconnecting the battery and I ca't get them to work with the procedure from the OM under registering the remote transmitters. Tried again and gave up.

UPDATE: Took my truck to dealer today for my last free oil change (she's 2 years old on Monday) and asked them about this. Called me later to say they got it programmed and wanted to know if I could bring key #2 in - now both are programmed. Tech said he just followed procedure in the book.
    Here's what he did:
Put key in ignition and turned to ON, but not start
    Turn off and remove key
Press key fob unlock button and desired memory button (M1)
    Open door
    Close door
    Move seat position
    Lock door
    Unlock door
Open door - seat will move to desired memory button position (M1)
    Repeat for M2

Tech also said he just read the book and tried it several times.
