I have been wanting to put a brake controller in my truck, however I DO NOT like any of the mounting options as I would like the keep as clean of a look in the truck as possible. I saw that tekonsha makes along with the P3 the Prodigy RF controller. you connect one end to the trailer and plug the other end into a cigarette lighter and it controls it remotely somehow. Any thoughts on this? Anyone use this? It is proportional etc etc. http://www.tekonsha.com/products/br...s/prodigy-rf/TzaIxkVx1cI5XOy!osRB508pViEKmVBf
If anyone has one or has heard of one thoughts on it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I've never heard of it. What are you hauling and how heavy? I know I would be worried about failure.
A hard wire connection has to be more reliable.
I agree about the typical mounting locations.
