Man, a quick question. Mine is 4 WD and that's why I will have to cut the control arms pockets, right? I am sorry for a question that may seem stupid, though I'm about to grab a 6 in procomp for my Tundra, and I was planning to install it by myself. And here's the thing, some instructions say that I will have to cut the truck to get the lift kit in (for example: http://www.howrah.org/how-to-install-lift-kit.html, I studied many of them so far as that will be the first lift kit I'll install by myself). Some say that cutting is not required, like you said. So it's all about the truck being 2 wd or 4 wd, right?

Yes. You'll have to cut the cross member on a 4WD.

Oh now I see, thanks for replying. So when I cut it, I guess I will have to paint it to prevent it from rust, right?

Wouldn't hurt. On the other hand, given the "severity" of the cut required, I recommend you are either well skilled in this, or you measure 10 times. Lol. I personally didn't feel up to par with this work (and I've installed snorkels and such on my previous rides)...I took it to the pros.

I've heard from many other people that you still need to cut the cross member in a 2wd on a lift 5 or more inches... ?? I want a 5 or 6 inch lift and would rather not cut it.

There should be no reason to cut anything on a 2WD. If that's the case, I'd find a different lift.

They ordered it. Will install next week. Decided to go with the aluminum trackrac because you can remove it.

    Great looking truck!
What offset do you have on those wheels?
Also, about how far do they stick out past the fender?
