I was thinking of going to a pro or heritage grill and deleting the chrome surround and bulge. What’s your opinion and what part numbers do I need to? I prefer oem for fitment . I have a 14 SR5 CM that I just bought for a project and this is what came on it . Any information would be great . Color of truck is Silver Sky Metallic

What is the heritage grille? That is not an offered trim and I've never heard one called that, just curious if you have a pic so someone can help you.

Also know that the grille surround is removable from the insert, so if you find the color matched surround but want to replace the insert that is not too difficult to do.

Personally, I used the first version of the TRD Pro grill for my 2016 for 3 reasons. It was period correct for my truck, I didnt have to worry about buying extra parts- ie the sensor cover, and I liked it better.

The later version needs a cover where the TSS sensor sits, even if your year of truck does not have the sensor.

and here is the later model, think it was used 2018+

I have a 2021 1794 and I have the whole front end chrome. I would like to make the change to the TRD Pro grill. My truck does have the TSS system, but it's integrated in the front Toyota logo in the front. Does anyone know what additional parts I need to purchase besides the TRD Pro grill? Is there a cover that I have to purchase where the TSS sensor sit? Where do I purchase that? Can I get that through Toyota?

If you have a 2021 not a 2016 like your profile states, you do need the sensor cover if you go with the newer Pro grille (2019-2021) if you go with the older Pro grille you will need to find an alternate way to relocate your TSS sensor since that grille was before the system existed and has no mounting for it. For the newer grille, some folks have had luck finding knock off covers on ebay, the Toyota cover is over 300 for a 2" by 3" piece of plastic....

All part numbers are in this thread, you will just have to order from a different dealership

Thank you so much! Yes, I have a 2021 1794. I used to have a 2016 Platinum. I need to update my profile. I appreciate it.
