I want to change the grill on my cement 18 limited because I hate the chrome but cant decide between the pro grill or the honeycomb one. I know I don't want the 19 pro grill because I have tss and sont want to deal with that relocation. What do you guys recommend?

Relocation of the TSS sensor is honestly very simple coming from the SR5 grill to the PRO. But I have been debating this as well not due to the TSS relocation but rather the price difference and look.

I want to switch from the 2018 TRD Sport honeycomb grille to the 2019 PRO grille. The price of the TSS cover is what is holding me back.
Where is that 40% off TRD sale like back in April?:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Is there a difference between the different honeycomb grills out there like the set and the sport?

What is the set? There is only 1 factory honeycomb grille that I know of.

OP, go for the grill YOU want. Both are great, and there are a lot of guys who successfully did the sensor placement.

I really like my honeycomb grill, but I think the other looks great too, and it will probably prove to be the more timeless-looking grill.

2014-2017 Pro grille may date your 2018 but it’s physically more rugged, would withstand a kid’s baseball more than the new one.

“Toyota” letters on the old or new Pro grille is an iconic design.

Honeycomb is the latest look on many brands, undeniably contemporary.

Ultimately it’s what makes you happy

    Nooooo!! You’ve crossed the streams!

    Total protonic reversal!!!

That grill is cool. Is somebody producing, or that just someone with some sick creativity and fabrication skills?

That's an expensive grille. He had to buy a 2019 TRD Pro Grille and cut out the Toyota logo. I've been debating to do this with my 2017 Pro Grille.

The honeycomb grills are basically the same, but not identical imo. I looked at an sr5 honeycomb vs the platinum honecomb at the dealer one day and I thought the Platinums was a darker grey and the sr5 was lighter grey, but it was hard to tell. I believe thats the difference in part numbers but my service guy looked at me crazy when i told him this.

Those hold the garnish on when installed. 2 posts on bottom. I used a screwdriver to help push it all the way down.
