I have the DD mount on my truck, it goes from the rectangular surround/ light bracket ...to the top of the grill and from that rectangular surround/ light bracket to the bottom of the grill to where the shutter connects. The camera is just an incidental tie in amongst all that. In the photo you posted you can clearly see the rectangular surround, the bracket leg that goes to the top, and the bracket leg that goes to the bottom. It's a three piece assembly....just like every other kit. They do include another camera mount so you don't have to buy a 3D printed camera bracket from Rave when you swap your grill out.

See the two legs circled in blue? What do you think those are for? Where do you think they go?

I know where they go… the top one connects to the camera mount they provide… where Westcott’s goes past the camera…. That’s what I’m trying to say.

Maybe it's just me misunderstanding. For example:

"the top one connects to the camera mount they provide… where Westcott’s goes past the camera"

The camera mount is below the light and the light bracket. So the top leg does not connect to the camera mount. It connects to the top of the light bracket and goes upward to the top of the grill. The bottom leg bolts to both the camera bracket and the light bar bracket in the same point, one bolt...and goes all the way to the bottom of the grill to a point on the active shutter.

DD brackets. "Top one" circled in blue. Doesn't connect to the camera mount. Bottom leg in red. Connects to the bottom of the light bar bracket and camera mount extends to bottom of grill

Wescott. Same three piece design, connects to exactly the same spots on the grill, albeit it doesn't tie into the camera mount as well, so it just has fewer points of contact. The only real difference I see is the light bar bracket/ surround uses a 90 ° angle which may make the light bracket more rigid. So how is the different from the DD?

yes spacers are installed. i just emailed the video to support for the place I purchased the light and bracket - and they said no it should not be vibrating/shaking nearly that much. He asked me to take the grill off the truck again and send him photos.

I guess I will do that, but it sorta sounds like people here having that same shake and it just dosent bother them. At least on my setup that all translates directly to the light beam and it super annoying.

I have the same setup and I don’t have that shake. No shake on the road. A very mild one off road on a mildly bumpy road
