Wow, $91k and everyday my 10yr old truck becomes more valuable

    .....to me.

More power to you member's who can stomach the cost of new vehicles in general.

My 2012 @130k miles has a long way to go.

I'm willing to bet 500 have already been produced. This is NP Toyota's 5th pro probably. My place in Arizona is on it's 10th pro. And the one I have in BFE Michigan is on it's 4th pro. Your source is about as reliable as the jackass salesmen's source that said the Tundra Hybrid was testing at 31mpg.

I live in SATX and every dealer here are liars. They have no clue wtf they're talking about. Alamo is the worst followed by NP then Universal.

    wow

your cash, if your comfortable thats all that matters.

just an honest question, not trying to throw stones, but.

doesnt it bother you that you'll be so upside down on that truck? or is money no object, if thats the case then I get it.

Did 40k down. monthly is very manageable. got a "great" rate from my credit union.

Markup was 12k. compared to the 15-20k other dealers currently want out here for the PRO.

The heart wants what it wants. lol

Gotta be one of the first periods in recent history that people are doing their best to get upside down on vehicles willingly. Better hope markets stay up for used cars

My PRO rate will be trash. I just signed for my Lightning 2 days ago, and the credit union gave me a backdated 1.49 special rate. So that's great. I got an amazing rate on a truck I'm flipping .

Regardless if one has a disposable income (whatever the hell that means), it’s a net loss. Used car prices are, very slowly, going down. If nothing else, being underwater will just make people hang on to their vehicles for more than a year or two. Bye-bye, buying cars like you’re leasing them, which I partially blame for causing the market and current MSRPs to be like they are.

I completely agree on this being a loss on the truck value.

However, We needed to purchase a vehicle that qualified for SECTION 179 to write off against my wife's business. So since i was offered the opportunity on this one, I took it.

Hope those new IRS agents dont get me.

There are some videos and pictures of their training on the line. If it’s authentic, I wouldn’t worry about them:D

Tell them to f%^ off. Stevenson has them listed on their website with $2k in handling fees, no ADM. Better to fly to a dealer that's not a douchebag and drive home.

Adjusted Dealer Markup. Basically the inflated prices dealerships are using as their greed ruins vehicle purchasing in the modern era.

Saw this article recently. If they do get you, it will likely be in 2026 when they get to your file...

the dealer tried to scam me with a 7.9% interest. I insisted on an options contract and took the truck home that day with 3 days to find my own financing.

Went through my credit union and got 3.2%. Still high but ill refi when rates go back down.

DONT go through the dealers they are full on scamming. When i went back with my check from my credit union the financing guy at the dealer didnt even want to see me.

they insisted the PRO did not "qualify" for the toyota rates that were advertised.

just for reference I have tier 1+ credit.
