I was thinking of similar setup to add a wireless printer but then work happened and it fell apart. I have three 4TB hard drives with movies and other data connected to my Pheonix Andriod HU. Just thinking of a way to have those hard drives accessible to my laptop and other devices w/out a cable.

I switched from Iphone to Android which gave me the functionality of starting hotspot whenever my phone connects to the HU via BT

Does the 3rd prong of the outlet do anything? IE is it grounded to the inverter or chassis?

The inverter has two outlets, both of which are 3-pronged (hence the reason for me to use a 3-pronged wire from the inverter to the receptacle). The inverter is grounded to the chassis.

Very nice. I was planning on doing USB flush mounts in the rear area of my console, so now I plan on expanding that idea. Thanks!
