Pavement princess here.... so ive had my trd sway bar sitting in a box since i bought my truck. Im extra and not a fan of the red so i will be powdercoating it a different color before install along with the calipers. So just looking for inspiration and color ideas. Any pics would help. I have a MGM CM.

Are you looking for some bling? If not just go with black. I spray painted mine black because I wasn't feeling the red either.

Nothing too fancy but i want it to pop out just a little more. Im leaning towards a blue or a yellow. Just need to look into colors a bit more.

personally, i have no idea why sway bars should "pop"... it is just a sway bar. Always thought it was weird that toyota made it red. It's like painting mudguards red to me.... Same thing with calipers, unless they're Brembo and even then, I'd take some black brembos over red. just my opinion

with a truck that pretty... I'd paint it MGM to match... subtle but cool.

Other than that... chrome with sparkles.

    Flux capacitor!
You can powder coat the swaybar another color if you want. Pending the color choice you select you most likely will need to have it sandblasted then re-powder coated. The two end links have rubber grommets that are a little tricky to remove. I would suggest using a little wd40 or something to help slip them out. If your handy I would remove the grommets yourself and bring the the two end links and bar to the powder coat shop. If you want to order a special color look at prismatic powders for color options. They're a lot of choices! If you plan to do a 6" lift or bigger then I would also suggest having the end links extended before you powder coat. If your only doing stock or a 3/1 lift you can leave the end links stock. Ekstrom design or coachbuilder will weld and extend the links for $75. Here is a photo of my rear swaybar. Help me understand why a sway bar is recommended...

My MGM 2014 SR5 TRD double cab is my DD. I don't notice much lean or roll on corners / ramps, etc.

Does the sway bar help more when carrying a heavy load in the bed or trailering...or is it 6 to 1/2-dozen of the other.

Adding a rear sway bar helps prevent body roll. By increasing the stiffness of the truck with a front and rear sway bar you can help to decrease oversteer in a corner. If you plan to off-road and want more articulation then you may not want a rear sway bar.

If it were me I would powder coat the same color as my aftermarket coils..just another idea. I have 700# red TT coils, so when if I add the red sway bar it works for a color match.
