You should've used that 12,000 # test line, and tied a Palomar knot. Palomar knot has 99.9% breaking strength. This could have got him to the boat. Just sayin

4lb 13oz got it on a white chatter bait. Water temp where I fish went from 49-50 last week to up to 61 this week. The fish are in pre spawn mode in late February, crazy.

    A decent striper...

My first Bluefin, caught about 10 years ago. Maybe 130-140 pounds? (Picture taken during what was probably the only moment I wasn't grinning from ear to ear that day.)

A buddy of mine with his first, maybe somewhere around the #170 mark or so. I miss that old boat. She was leaky, heavy, pounded like hell, and as you may have noticed, wasn't the prettiest girl around, but she called up that magical first Tuna for 6 of my crew. Good times...

A picture my brother caught while we were dragging around our spread...

Probably doesn't count as fishing but sure is fun and good to eat, dingees and reds from a pier in Newport, that evening we fed 9 of us and had leftovers

A nice way to spend yesterday afternoon, and my first success at ice fishing. I caught one yellow perch, and a couple of 'bows. Was still 14-16" of pretty solid ice on the lake. Oh, and who needs a cooler? :p

I'm originally from South Arkansas but moved up to the very northern part of the state a few years ago. Me and my wife just started fishing Table Rock and Bull Shoals back in November, both are 30 minutes from my house.

Here's my wife's first Table Rock bass
    20161205_130739_zpsxqt6r6v8_886bc7d6089e7e13c9997870a51a3a26ecfa0b2f.jpg

And here's a 7.75lb largemouth my wife caught in a big bass only tournament down in South Arkansas, it was the first and only tournament we've ever fished. Whoever had the biggest fish of the day won $1,000 and she did
