Don't you hate when that happens!
I have had a couple rods replaced because of that. If you like the rod take pictures tell your story and mail it to the rod builder if it is out of warranty. Usually they are good about send the latest one to replace it.

all of these Snapper I was told were between 18 and 20 pounds.

When they get this big it turns into quite a battle getting these up. The amount of power they have is amazing! :)
Twice my daughter hung into something that just walked away and found a place to lay up until it broke off. They thought it was a big Warsaw. My friend is taking another group out today and he is going to try to catch what ever it was if they hung into???

Today I went with my daughter to a tackle shop a friend owns and they had some offshore jigging reps, rod reps, and jig reps. She is lucky that is for sure. They had drawings for jigs and a bunch of other stuff. Later in the day she stopped by and picked up mom and they went doing their things. On one of those stops she stopped at a persons house that is moving and he had a box full of offshore jigs for sale. She bought the whole box (27 offshore jigs) for 40 dollars, she received right at 400 dollars worth of rigged jigs for 40 dollars!!!! Unfrickenbelieveable!!! All of them brand new. So she dropped them off and left.
A little while ago my wife needed go to the store so she asked our daughter to go, she went and picked her up.
Daughter just calls and it turns out the person doing their drawings for gifts texted her and she won a place to go on a 12 hour jigging trip. LMAO!!!! :)
No matter how much you spent there today you received one ticket for the drawings. She bought four offshore jigs two so she wrote my name on one and two more and wrote her name on one. SHE WON a jigging fishing trip out of Freeport Texas!IMG_6776.jpg

I have my annual Casper, WY., trip with life-long friends planned for early June this year. So looking forward to some great fishing, time with Buddies, and doing everything to excess. We've been fishing out of Casper with guides for the last 4 years.

We use Wyoming Fly Fishing and really like everyone there. Our regular guides are Oggie and PJ and they do a great job keeping us on the fish.

I know Oggie, I’d love to work for Liz and Ryan. My buddy Shane guides for them too.

It is a small world sometimes! Liz and Ryan are simply the best people! We stay in their rental house when we are in Casper. Oggie and PJ always give us a bunch of crap when we are fishing with them and we give it right back. That is one of the reasons we enjoy fishing with them. We are old guys in our mid-70's and generally have a few wind-knots for them to untangle during a day of fishing. Super good guys and do a great job for us. Never fished with Shane before but have fished with Griz. Oh, and your outfits (The Ugly Bug and C3) have some great reviews too!
