Last day of Drum tournament. We had a tough time out there today. It seems the drum left town. Submitted my catch, and as of right now........

Great day on the water! Finally got my Hobie PA 14, and it is a beast. Upper slot drum and a 23" trout.

 

Greetings from Southern Az. I run a Facebook group of kayak bass tournament anglers and try to escape to either San Diego or Sea of Cortez in Mexico after saltwater species.

Nothing fancy, just some small ones from a river in town today. From shore, Carolina Rig with night crawlers.

I just got into fishing again after a few decades of just throwing a line out when camping.

I'm hoping to land a few BIG cats before the end of the year on the Red River.

 

Just one little cat today. Super windy, hard to fish from shore on river.

A couple this size got away but the one that ticked me off was a monster I had within 8' from shore before he came up and thrashed the hook out. I believe it was a Carp. He made a couple good longs runs that got me excited to catch a big one again soon.

 

Just got back from the lake , caught some really nice northern, this one and had a really big one on and other pic shows just how big , he broke the support stem on my reel , never have I had that happen, my son was there and I thew him the reel to hold the fish while I put pole down and he pulled it all the way up to boat and he got off before I could net him . Really exciting and funny , when I threw him the reel , I told him to reel him in while I held the pole and he just looked at me and started pulling line,

 

Good catch. At least you landed him and it's an excuse to buy a new reel!

 

Spent 3+ hours fishing for walleye on the Mississippi yesterday. Here is my catch;

Yes it was , were in Zion today , went to BASS PRO , new AMBASSADEUR REEL , SOME LURES and had them line it with 30lb test braid. Going back in 1 or 2 wks. Wife got it for me for our 33rd anniversary , gotta love e'm

 

Obx Slam tournament is on! Finally able to camp even though wind is 25+. Caught some nice drum. Trout have been in the 15-17" range. Need this wind to die down. Cheers

Nice. I live in Lewes area and I heard this morning they are catching off the beach now. Tagtou is some of the best fish

 

Finally got a big channel cat.

15 min from home. Garlic shrimp on a Carolina Rig.

About 30-32" or so.



And a smaller one...but still decent at 18-20"

I live in Kansas City and fish almost exclusively for largemouth bass. I fish a few different lakes and a conservation area with multiple small lakes in it.
This year is only my second year fishing here in MO but I have a good feel for the bass fishing in the area now.

Here is one of my fish.

 

Finally got out where the wind wasn't blowing 25+. Got a slam, flounder was 19" along with 3 solid trout and a drum. Tight Lines!!!
