For my birthday last year my Lady bought me track time with a couple of cool toys....liked the Lambo better than the Ferrari! Site Won't upload the pics maybe too big?)
...Lambo was a Giardo (spelling?)...V-12 awd beast. Ferrari was a 4 cylinder high strung thing was way less fun. They had the Lambo on a big oval and the Ferrari on a twisty track....talked them into letting me take the Lambo on the twisty track...what a hoot!

After looking at these machines......all I ever drove was a police package Crown Vic and an occasional Bearcat

Love driving this 92 Seagrave 100ft rear mount aerial with a Detroit Diesel. The only thing that's more fun than driving it is climbing it.

So I drove cop cars for 24 years starting with the old dodge diplomat. What a hunk o junk. My fave was the 92 Chevy caprice. Also a total POS and butt ugly but it had a corvette drive train that was stupid fast. 2nd gear scratches were the norm. I prayed someone would run from us.

I agree the Diplomats were a huge POS, when I started in the game we drove the Plymouth Gran Fury with the 440 and along the way even tried a few of the Chargers with the 5.7 but we would go through a set of brakes in about 2 months then back to Crown Vics and now are using Tahoe's. What Crown Vics are still around are in fleet being used a pool cars.
