    Ha. Pretty close. I work at the hospital in Jackson Wyoming. Our parking lot is up against the fence of the National Elk Refuge. Beyond is Grand Teton and Yellowstone Park.

    My potato phone pics don’t do it justice, these are mamma bears, I’ll try and post the beagle pics she got with her dslr(bald eagle) couldn’t ask for a better trip!!!! Well I only caught one fish, little guy and not photo worthy. Everyone was catching them off the bottom, I like top water lures and spoons, even our honey hole was lame this trip.

    Come out west and I’ll take you, there was a resident bear, that comes down in the am, but we didn’t get down early enough to see it, and thankfully it minds it’s own business and doesn’t come into camp. 3 years ago we saw one there, and it was like a scene from Godzilla with people running, I was on the other side watching it all happen. It wasn’t loud but apparently they were shooting it with bean bags to get it away from camp. Camp host said the current one chased off a nuisance bear that would come into camp, and this one stays away except to eat in the mornings, we definitely saw some bigger than our dogs paw prints in camp this morning

    I love out west and definitely need to visit again. Lol! Too bad you don't have a recording of that. That would make me a little nervous camping somewhere where it is known for there to regularly be a bear in the area.

    This second photo is from the same location w/the camera looking south instead of west.... Fog hasn't made it's way to the bridge yet, but it was definitely inbound.
