Possible new tundra owner

I am considering a 2024 hybrid platinum tundra with the factory 3” lift and TRD off road package. I see a lot of complaints about the new generation Tundras on this forum. Does anyone regret purchasing the new version of the Tundras?

Actually, most of the complaints were about the '22 and '23 models. Toyota seems to be correcting issues pretty quickly. There are likely still a few unresolved issues but you're still much better off with a Tundra than with a domestic.

Welcome.. no issue Toyota has not fixed with my 2023. Drives and rides amazing from day one. Complainers gotta complain - that's what they do. No complaints here.

Anyone who experienced one of the early model failures probably has some degree of regret, everyone else seems pretty pleased with the upgrades the new model brings. It's gonna be subjective obviously as one's expectations are the biggest predictor of satisfaction or lack thereof.

That guy bought a hybrid Tundra and runs 35s with the 3" TRD lift. He gets 12mpg.

Not that there's anything wrong with that. Just temper your expectations when buying a 3" lifted truck and putting tires on it that each weigh 25lbs more than stock.
