Popping Noises - Chassis/Body Bolts?

    This is what mine sounds like. It is for sure the skid plate. There is a tech tip from TOYOTA on this problem from over tourqing the bolts. https://youtu.be/n0umS7U0Nww

    I had same issue...fixed with rubber spacers...

    Poordesign to have that skid plate contact the crossmember metal to metal...it should come with insulators/spacers.
