Poor Fuel MPG

    Stay out of turbos most time an it will get better fuel economy.

    I wish I got 17.4 mpg. I get 14 in my 14 if I'm lucky.

    There is a 4 way stop just down the road from my property. Microcosm of gas mileage variance. I coast up to the sign often with foot off the gas. People in other directions are usually accelerating full throttle a few hundred feet from the sign so they can beat me to it by 6 inches to go first. Lock down the brakes at the sign to stop and then only to immediately floor it thru the intersection.

    My truck gets 19-20 mpg. They likely get 14-15 mpg.

    If you were to ask the other guys they would say they were driving like grandma. Self awareness of driving is generally not good.
