That sucks. Those used to be good trucks. I had an 86, 89, 92, and a 97. 96 was the last good year. 97 and up are junk.

I had a used 2007 Tundra 4x4 DC (15.01MPG with 1.6" level and 32" tires), then a 2011 used Tundra 4x4 DC (14.85MPG with 1.6" level and 32" tires) that saved my behind in a rollover crash off a mountain and down a 25' slide/ drop.... then for some reason, I bought a 2015 Sierra CM Z71 (15.82 MPG with 2" level and 33" tires). This was when gas was about $3.30 here and I was chasing the claimed 22MPG...... It was an ill-advised affair with GM that I won't make the mistake of again.

Came from a 2004 Nissan Titan. had her for 11 years and she was a great truck. If Nissan hadnt built a Ford F150 as their replacement truck, I would have bought another.

I really like the size of the Gen 2 Tundras, but wouldn't go back to the smaller gas tank or engine in any event.

Traded a 2007 Tacoma (bought new, had 60k at trade in) for a 2005 Tundra w/120k. Have NEVER regretted it.

Would have been interesting to split the Toyota option between tundra and taco. Maybe a separate poll.

Chevy but to be fair it was my first truck back in 1999-ish and i think it was a 1994 or 1995. Second truck is a 2018 Tundra so it’s been a few years since I’ve had a truck :)
