Whiskey on the rocks in the evening and beer before 6:00. When you get to my age you have to think about sleeping without getting up to pee. Whiskey has to be Tennesee or Canadien not that Kentuckey crap.

My dad bought me a fifth of Woodford Reserve a while ago, I had to give it away.

It is. The first time I had it I bought 6 or 8 bottles and brought them back in my checked bag. My wife knew how much I liked it and bought a case for me for Christmas. Shipped from the brewery. $60 for the beer and $90 for the shipping. I guess she loves me more than money. I've also had some of my guys pack it in tool boxes they were shipping back.
It's seasonal, fall/winter. Find one and you won't regret it.

I’m not a big drinker, but I like good gin, tequila and beer. I typically drink a light beer but lately if I’m looking for a little more taste I like a hef witbeer. I like seeing what a good bar has on tap, especially a local brewery. You can keep the IPAs LOL i’m good for maybe one of those and then I move on. If I’m feeling like dinner, a good nitro stout is very satisfying.

And I’m a sucker for Irish car bombs. I always win that race. Also, a good sipping whiskey on the rocks is nice. And I won’t turn down a fruity cocktail when it’s hot and I’m sitting by the pool. If it’s brunch, I skip the Mamosa‘s and opt for a tequila sunrise. Also my favorite hangover drink is a bloody Maria. Forgo the vodka and add tequila LOL

There needs to be a "Yes" option.

What I am doing, where I am, what I am eating, what friends I am with can all have an impact on what I drink.

I love myself some strong IPAs. More so because it can be a "one and done" type of drink that I truly enjoy.

Nothing against a frosty C-, Bud Light, Miller Light, Modelo, Corona or the occasional glass of white wine.

If im trying to get rowdy... get me some tequila or whiskey and LETS GOOOO :goingcrazy:

Aren't you part Mexican? Bad experience with Tequila? My wife is 1/4th Mexican and we drink mostly Tequila and Mezcal. I speak more Spanish than she does so I always remind her she's a horrible excuse for a Mexican.

Jager is for the devil. That stuff is so bad.

    I used to drink Shiner.
    I still drink Shiner.
    But I used to, too.

    Shout out to Mitch Hedberg..

    https://youtu.be/VqHA5CIL0fg

I stopped drinking liquor years ago, strictly beer for me..

I like Shiner, or 'lighter' Mexican beers.
    Modelo or Corona Light..
Negra Modelo when I'm feeling naughty, like right now....

Usually a hard cider for me - something local and sulfite free…not that sugary angry orchard shit.

Or sour/tart ales…especially true traditional ones like authentic Belgian Lambics.

If I’m gonna have something stiff, it’s gonna be a really good sipping tequila - Don Julio 1942 is my current favorite but I’m far from a connoisseur. On a very rare occasion a rye whiskey, but not very often.

I’m about 30 minutes from Firestone Walker Brewing, it’s a super cool place. I like their 805s. Good beers for when it’s hot out. Give their luponic distortion line a try if you can find it.

Vodka crans was drink of joice in college. Used to buy cran cocktail juice in 16oz bottles. Take a swig and pour in the vodka. Somehow they got stronger as the night went on.

    Mostly will go for anything.

working on stuff = beer (coors banquet, Cali creamin, etc)

Meal = craft beers, hef, IPA, stouts, etc or mixed drinks

hanging out / cigars = whiskey/bourbon neat, on the rocks, or old fashions.

Yes and hell yes. I drank a full bottle of Jose gold by myself one night in my early 20s. None of my friends would drink it. I don't remember all the details but nobody wanted to drive me home because they were afraid I would puke in their car. My best friend drove me home in a stolen truck that night. Next day I couldn't even drink water until around 8pm.

Ever since then if I smell tequila I get turned off. I'll take a shot if I have to, but never something I would ask for.

    My German side likes Jager.

I’ve been knock down uncontrollably barfing drunk only a few times in my life. Black out once, and that was on Seagrams 7. I did, and said some things that I truly don’t remember. I do remember pissing in the broken taillight of my friends motorcycle. I don’t remember trying to take on a car full of alleged gang members that tried to crash our party. I guess I had some pretty choice words for them, and they threatened to come back with more people and guns. This is what I was told. I’m glad nothing happened. I definitely took that as a learning experience! I am a much wiser man now. I also weirdly remember my friend taking me home, and me throwing up in the toilet, my mom asks me, “what did you drink!“ Chunky monkey was my response.

I do drink too much sometimes but I definitely check myself before I get that bad. I stay away from Seagram 7. :puke:

Unfortunately my answer to your question is "yes". So, whatever flavored seltzer water is available.

    Sober about 10 years now.

Haven't met too many beers I didn't like. Except for Belgians, not a fan.

Can't do the hard shit, no that's not right won't do the hard shit. I have a habit of drinking anything in front of me with reckless abandon doesn't matter what the beverage is and well the hard shit makes for a bad time.
