What is "with parking light" in the drop down options? I want to make sure I order correctly.

Regular brake T has the brake (aka stop) positive and a ground.
With parking light adds a third wire for the parking light (aka tail aka running) positive wire. Useful for superpacific and possibly tailgate strips.

Hello, if I missed the specific question, I apologize in advance. I really like this connector avoiding splices. My question is can you make one with a constant power supply for an led dome light that has a switch? If so, let me know the cost and how to order on your site and I’ll do so. Let me know if you need anything from me. My truck is a 2019 limited double cab and I recently added Leer shell.

Replied via DM, quick answer is, no easy +12v or IGN power source in the rear of these trucks other than the tow connector. I do not build a tow T at this time but you can hack up a CURT gooseneck if you want, it'd be cheaper than anything I could do anyway.

I was planning on running the power from the battery before seeing the information on here. I’ll still order the brake light connector in a few. Much cleaner! Thank you.

Could you help identify the taillight connectors? Photos and the 5 digit number on them. I have the headlight connector M&F, or at least I think I do. But haven’t had anyone chase down the rear connectors for me yet.

Dave, I have the plug info somewhere. Let me see if I can track it down. I don’t know the pin out, and there is a chance it is a canbus system on the new ones. Let me see what I have as far as info….

Gen 3 “Rear Combination Light Assembly” connectors
    upload_2023-3-16_20-0-17.jpg

T4 is left hand, R2 is right hand.
Pin 5 is STP (brake) on both connectors, wire is Blue
Pin 3 is Ground on both connectors, wire is White/Black on trucks without bed lights. It is Lavender for trucks with bed lights (some diagrams show T4 ground is always white/black).
Pin 1 is the Welcome Light circuit, and is Green
Pin 6 is Tail Light, and is Lavender/Green
Pin 2 is Turn Signal, and is Lavender/Sky Blue in R2 and Beige in T4
It appears Pin 4 is unused.

Not just lavender, but also lavender w/ sky blue stripe, and lavender w/ green stripe.

    FML...

I'd either use violet or pink.

Dave will be getting some 3rd gen ones soon. Price TBD as right now, there really isn't much of a bulk discount. But I will leave that determination to @daveeasa

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I can’t figure out how to plug and play the connectors? 2012 tundra. I ordered the 2007-13 Brake T Harness. The picture shows the connector for the brake light.

Thanks to a quick call I now understand that the connector is actually under the truck and not at the actual brake light itself. If anyone is confused just follow the pigtail back and you should also find a connector. Pic shows the new harness plugged in.

You may also potentially want to swap the plastic retaining clip to the T and leave the slack upstream. Quite a bit of work though and best done with clear glasses for eye protection from dirt/dust.

I don’t include zip ties but they are recommended so that nothing rattles unnecessarily. And feel free to add tape if you like, and the tubing and heat shrink.

I was thinking I’d like to adjust it and will be doing that when I do the soldering and heat shrink for my new third brake light on my topper. Old one only lit about half the LEDs.

Just bought a Leer 100xr, has the module with 2 loose wires for the 3rd brake light. Would this work with a 2016 Tundra? If so send me link please...

I think Johnny (@Puppypunter) has done a few 3rd Gen Tundra brake T’s. If he sends me one, I believe I have the connectors already and I can list it for easier sale.
