    Good Morning to all:
New Member here as I just purchased a new 2024 Tundra SR5 this past Saturday. I am looking to install a 3” lift kit on the truck and the place I brought it to is telling me in order for a lift kit to be put on a 2024 Tundra the axles need to be replaced. The axles are $400 each and the passenger side axle is on national backorder with no telling when it will be available. Is there any truth to this? Thank you in advance for the help.

Check the Gen 3 marketplace on this site and you might find some take off axles. There are 3 different lengths and they have different colors.

There is info on this site to describe the differences in the axles. I think the red or silver ones work but it is best for you to confirm for your needs.

Thank you very much guys. I don’t understand how axles can be on a nationwide backorder. Doesn’t make any sense to me but it does make me feel good the shop wasn’t BS’ing me about needing the axles. Im glad they are willing to do the job correctly

I honestly don’t know what brand he is using. All I know is the total cost of the job including the axles that are $400 each from Toyota is costing $2,800 including labor. The TRD kit alone without labor is more than that
