There is something to be said for a company that makes every part in a kit, and designs them to work together. Hopefully one of the guys up here gets that setup so I can see how nice it is. *cough* @Almaboy *cough*

If it wasn’t during my busy time of year, I’d be there in a heartbeat. Gotta love working in commercial agriculture, it’s tough to get time off from April to September.

Though if I spend more time in the hills and eventually want to upgrade again, I wouldn’t complain about you having experience with the ADS/Deaver setup either

I know the feeling. My lift was put on hold because I had to wait for my bonus to come in near the end of the year.

I looked into ADS before making my decision My truck is a double cab and with the 3.0's I would not have much adjustment on the front coils like a crew max does. Also When I tried getting a hold of and trying to find out more about ADS it was not easy and even though they are in Tucson I want an easy way to get parts and or be able to warranty something if needed. Because Icon built these for the Tundra's they work really well I have all the adjustment and a very good shop SDHQ that is not far from me that sell's and supports there product.

I have the Icon Stage 6. Installed it last June. Last week I got the new RXT leaf springs and replace the add a leaf that came with the stage 6. Huge Improvement! About 1.75" lift in the rear over 1.5" but much softer. Im running stock 1794 wheels with 285 65 20 BFGATKO2. All is good. Perfect alignment and balancing. I have a new set of the Icon 6 Speed wheels in the garage but have not decided on new tire size yet. I want no rubbing and I do not want to do ay trimming. Im super pleased with the Icon setup especially paired with the RXT leaf springs.

I’m going to guess shipping weight of 3.0’s? They come with a 650 but Icon uses eibach so I’m sure they can throw a 700 on them.

Also, Icon porn since we’re on the topic. We went with them for the same reason many have mentioned. They’re the only company that makes shocks and arms and hoops and coilovers specifically for the Tundra. They engineered everything to work together from soup to nuts.

blue16 - yes the RXT sprigs are nicer. They are softer than the add a leaf, at least driving unloaded. I do tow a little but not everyday by any means. Traler with a Ranger. I also have a 14' bike trailer. Rarely haul it and have not hooked to it yet.

According to Icon, it's a 600lb spring. Not a 650 on the 3.0 fronts. They do not have a 700lb spring. The 3.0 springs were supposedly custom made.

    The 2.5 shock has a 600x16"x3"ID spring, the 3.0 has a 600x17"x3 5/8"ID spring

@olsin6 Do you know if this is true?

I pretty much just pull a boat I thought about getting a toy hauler but most likely wont go that direction. Maybe I should up grade to the RXT springs.

My fear with RXT springs is about 4x a year I tow a 22' bass boat, trailer and camping gear for 4-5 days which is quite heavy lol so i have to keep that in mind

I have a 19' ski boat that I tow in the summer. I had the same concern since I had my previous setup dialed in for this. About a week after the install I hooked up the boat and drove around the block and didn't notice any sag. The real test will be with all the gear and passengers though...

Yeah i'm not worried about the boat and double axle trailer, it's when I add all the gear for 3 adults and the 3 adults haha

The RXT springs add another 1/4" inch of height. The ride improvement is noticeable over the add a leaf. Just no comparison. Hauling a boat that doesn't have a lot of tongue weight is not going to squat the truck that much more. I think they are only "soft" at the top end. Ass you add more weight they get stiffer

1/4" over stock?! They are multi rate to give 1.5, 3 or 4" of lift in rear depending on how you configure them
