Non Platinum owner here. LOL. I am adding the power running boards to my SR5 with the "PREMIUM" TRD OR pkg. HAHAHA hard to text sarcasm. Anyway I have everything except a harness. Another Platinum owner took his off and cut the wiring from under the seats to each board. To me verifying the wiring is integrated when the trucks are built. Also, if you want to keep the bed step functional, you're gonna need to keep the ECU for the boards because it controls them both, same with the switch. That being said, anyone taking them off, if you're in my area "mid TN" I will do the work for you if you're will to part with some of the wiring. If you sell all what you take off, whoever buys it will need a full wiring harness and ECU. I have a heated shop too.
