So i was going to spray the bed for Line x. I could of got the deal for $400. But i need to drop the truck off. I found a used OEM tundra liner local for $90 off 2017 Platnium CM. Couldnt pass it up.

My 2008 Tundra had one and never had a problem. Being able to slide stuff in and out as well was great. But I also had a hard tonneau cover. Paint chaffing underneath yes. But Rust no.

So back to my question. Am i missing a part in the front of the bed to hold the liner under the railing?

There is a "Z" bracket that goes under the track at the front that mounts under the deck rail and helps to hold the bedliner in place. I think that this comes with the Toyota bedliner when purchased new but should also be available separately (I think that the part number is PT27134070HW). You might also find something that will work at your local hardware store for less $$.

20 bucks at Amazon. Be sure to get it from the seller AutopartsExperts to get that price. I needed it too when I bought a used liner.
