Has anyone plasti-dipped their badges on their Tundra? I saw a you tube video and met a Tundra enthusiast who did his own, it looked good. It looks super easy to do, I'm just wondering if it is really as easy as it looks. Any pictures of yours, additional input, or tips would be great!

Yea its not hard to do. Just tape around the emblem leaving an inch or so around the emblem. This will help you peal it from the truck. Spray around 5 coats, let it dry then peal away the access from the truck.
Pic from when i did it to my Tacoma.

I Plasti-dipped mine. Was really easy. My advise would be to err on the side of more coats than less. I did 7. I would do 9 next time. image.jpg

Also, in case you were wondering I have power washed the dipped emblem a number of times and it still looks perfect. I pretty much tried to spray it off and it held tight.

I plan to dip the entire truck at some point. Just for giggles. Maybe this fall. Still deciding on a color.

What color of plastidip is that? Black, gray? I have a MGM crewmax that I plan to plastidip this summer and I think it would match pretty close.
