Staying at home honoring my fallen son West Point Jacob Bower and others. I might do some fishing too.

@Cement Pro my heart is heavy for your loss. My youngest is a combat vet that returned with some troubles and the time he spent in-country was the worst in our lives (mom and I).
I will have you in prayer this weekend and the days to come.

Looks like a fantastic boy! I'm sorry for your loss. No war is a good thing but sometimes necessary.....his service was immensely appreciated by myself, who never took the opportunity to serve. My kids get to have a tremendous life because of brave men like him.

Looks good except I think ya'll missed a spot on the front license plate holder. Maybe you meant to get it but got distracted by the beer, happens to me all the time.

No we had over 30 fish each on a six man trip. The captain provided these buckets so we coat separate our fish.

I'm just getting in the house - we went out back to clean and bag which turned into a few beers which turned into a shot which turned into turning in the grill which turned into a bottle of Jeffersons reserve.

Curious what you mean by wilderness therapy, what it means to me is definitely not work.

Lol. We take at risk teens (mental health, drug addiction, broken homes, etc.) And put them through a program using primitive survival skills and teamwork to help break barriers in their personal life. Sometimes it's very much a job. Othertimes it's hard think I get paid to do it.

Thanks man. Luckily the success far outweighs the negative experiences. It can be a little rough on your head but I wouldn't trade the days with smiles for anything. And the follow-up stories are the best things ever.

Riding in and around the Blue Ridge Moutnains. A few pics off a national forest road we rode yesterday. This was only her second time riding gravel roads with lots of encouragement, she did great. It was 60 degrees at the highest point Mt Mitchell, great riding temps. Finished off the day with a 220 mi ride.

Yes indeed, Cherohala is probably our favorite. Western NC has beautiful riding, the forest roads are amazing.

If you are still in the area or ever get back try to ride Wayah Road. It has a little bit of everything...
