Heading out to the Colorado River, not this weekend but next weekend. Parker Arizona to be exact. Rented a trailer and they are going to park it in the spot I picked right on the river! Bringing the Mrs. our daughter and her friend. Going to meet my best friend out there and do some boating and jet skiing. And of course beer.....after the boating and jet skiing LOL

I started my wknd this morn learning detail 101 from A good guy I call Driverdog aka Jim. I learned a lot today , from the right chemicals to the right vacuum. I helped and did what I was Instructed to do. The results were amazing, at least to my eye.
    Here are some pics.

Enjoyed some lunch @ a local seafood spot. Thanks again Jim.

Tomorrow headed offshore for some trigger and bass. Hopefully some dolphin in the mix. Salute

Nothing. Last several years, we typically go to my cousin's and we have a big crawfish boil along with pork steaks and chicken and anything else you could ever think of eating. Kids have bounce houses, parents have beer. Great time had by all. But my wife is working this weekend and she's 8 months pregnant so I can't leave her this year so it looks like I will be sitting at home. Probably going to go down and work on my basement that I just started framing out.

Took a project for Saturday painting and building a 10' counter and the rest of the weekend is BBQ and beers. And mountain biking in the morning. It all began with a BBQ at work earlier today and ended pool side with a beer. My wife came to my work and helped me cook. :)

Hitting the beach anywhere near Coos Bay would be nice. Been a long time since I've been there. I miss the smell of the sulfur coming off of the pulp plants. Actually Coos Bay coastal area, north and south, is pretty freaking nice. No beaches here in CO. Staying at home and doing a lot of grilling and destroying beers until I get back yo work next Thursday.

Actually this time of year the closest thing to a beach is Medano Creek, Great Sand Dunes Nat'l Park. Almost the real deal and you will see bikinis'

Stay away from the highways, boat ramps, and woods. (Too damn many Yankees here now) get some good food, good beer, and lock the gate.
I'm probably going to walk up to the cemetery and honor the veterans. It's amazing, this country we're living in, and I don't take it for granted.

Never thought I would, but it's the proverbial "too good to say no" situation and a pinnacle job in my industry. We're keeping our Colorado spread, and solidly on pace to retire in 10 years. When I do, I'll be back - if not before then. When all is said and done, I'll finish and remain in Colorado until this rock finishes itself.
