    Separate one with the HU.
    Factory mike will not work.
Few have done it, but it is a PITA.

    I never notice mine..

I far prefer the Kenwood except that I cant stand the Nanny Warning screen every single time I start the radio.

I also will not buy a radio for a truck that does not have an actual round volume control knob,I'll show them!

My Kenwood Excelon DDX9903S had a nanny warning I had to touch to cancel.

My Kenwood Excelon DMX906S cancels itself out after 10 seconds.

Never thought about the round knob..:eek2:
Seems the lower end models still have one..

    Boss ELITE!!!
    Now that is a HU!!
Doesn't get any better than that..

And my point is pretty much that I am not buying any radios again.

    Not all of them.
My Kenwood Excelon DDX9903S warning would stay on for hours if I didn't cancel it.
One reason I got rid of it.

Damn. That would definitely get aggravating haha. Glad my 996 gives you the option to go off automatically
