So I'm in the process of moving and a tall lamp in my garage and my wife opened up the door and accidentally hit the ceramic lamp shade and it left this burr / Nick on the pillar post.

Does anyone have any advice for me on how to fix it / or had something similar happen? I'm trying to figure out how to approach it without potentially doing damage - not sure if a sharpie and sandpaper or some sort of equivalent would do the trick.. I just want to clip it off without making it worse!

I know, I know... It's ridiculous that I'm fixating on it! It's just this truck is the nicest thing I've ever owned and I try and keep it positively immaculate! Thanks everyone.

I think Toyota has a part # for that. You peel it off and put a new one on.

Yes! The black is not paint, it is basically a matte black decal that you can peel off.

underneath, you’ll find the paint matches the rest of the body. Order the new sticker(s) and peel off the old and apply the new, and you’re good to go.

You can also touch up as described in the meantime.

I peeled mine off. I like the look better than the sticker.

You guys are awesome. Thank you so much! I ordered a touchup pen in the meantime and I'm going to get the wrap ordered - I had no idea that was a wrap and the factory color is underneath. For one reason or another, despite how much I love cement, I actually like the way the wrap looks with tinted windows haha.. Hopefully I don't have to buy them in pairs!

Seriously, thank you guys so much for the replies - very much appreciated everyone!
