If they say there is to much flex they need to go on a diet. I’m 220 and have no issues. There are 5 to 6 brackets on the Crewmax version so there is not much room for flex. Ones that have 2 brackets like the amp research retractable steps have a lot of flex.

Fitment is lacking a bit, but for the price, they're fine.

What brand are they? They look like they could also protect the doors from dings.

Go Rhino Rb20. They stick out a little too far for my tastes but the wife and kids like them and yes, great door ding and flying road debris protection.

This would actually help me against idiots that like slamming doors open in parking lots. Since I live in midwest makes sense to get the coated one.

Where can you find this for a decent price?

I went with powdercoat version. They sell bedliner version as well for $200 more. I read a lot of bad reviews about the bedliner version peeling after a few months. I read good things about the powdercoat version, and it is $200 cheaper. I got mine for $330 from an ebay vendor, free shipping. Autoanything or the other major online vendors couldn't come below $350. I installed mine backwards, like many others have done on here.

Did you pull the GoRhino logos off your boards? If so, how? Remove the rivets and just left the holes?

Have you (or anyone else) had problems with the finish on these? I'm on my 2nd set and on both the finish has let go from the metal.

Yes. Drilled the little rivets out. Clean job, took only a minute for each. I then glued some thin neoprene rubber 1inch tape with black urethane adhesive (from behind).

I read all the bad things about the bedliner finish so I went with powdercoat.
