GoRhino RB10 installed today. I recessed them just under the lip of the door. I may move them rearward an inch or two. Thoughts?

Also, was not sure which way the brackets went, the open part toward the front or rear of vehicle?

I wouldn't move them. They end perfectly at the end of the cab.

Looks great. Did you modify anything to suck them in closer?

I just bought some Raptors. They hang lower than the OEM "Stealth" steps, which makes it easier to get in, but I like how the OEM "Stealth" steps tuck up tight to the truck. Images below.

Aries Ridgestep. Hangs kind of low but it looks like a lot of ours do. Also scoop mud like nobodies business. Beyond that they're very durable and plenty of step for the wife and kid. Great grip even when wet. I've also run a shovel across them many times to remove mud and the finish remains perfect.

Quick question for you AMP owners, have any of you had issues with the motor burning out? I really like the look, but got talked out of them by a Toyota salesperson as “being unreliable” and “not a good long-term step for the money.” Not sure if there’s any truth to that...

OEM Chrome Step OEM Spray-In Liner
I'm picking up my new (first) 2020 Cement Crewmax SR5 TRD Offroad tomorrow. I asked the dealer to go find me one and they finally did but it comes with the OEM chrome tube steps for an extra $575, I asked for no step because I planned on putting the RB10 or RB20's on it and I didn't want any of the OEM options. They won't take them off, so now I'm trying to get them to not charge me extra for them so we'll see how that goes. I'm hopeful they'll at least knock down the price off the chrome steps or maybe give me a few extras. I'm thinking of asking for at least the OEM black tailgate badge and the OEM black side badges for my trouble.
Anyone have the part numbers handy for all the black badges including tailgate insert for a 2020 SR5 TRD Offroad Crewmax?
I think I want that actual emblems and not the overlays right?

It's certainly not worth walking away from the deal over but I don't want them to know that.
Anyone have any luck getting the dealer to take a step off you didn't want or get something else out of the deal?
