Do the Westin HDX install without drilling? Saw a Youtube video on them and guy said it took 6 hours to install, hard to believe if no drilling required. I have a 2018 Crewmax, FYI and thanks in advance.

Thanks Rica25, but has anyone installed the Westin HDX on a 2018 Tundra Crewmax? Rica25 your truck is a different model year so throwing the question back out again. When I look under my Tundra I see a pair of bolts below the driver door handle and then two more sets of bolts toward the rear, but only a single bolt forward of the driver door handle so my first impression is that the Westins may not fit without drilling.

Got the price down to $323 from Autoanything, free shipping, local dealer wants $549 for purchase and install thus all the questions before I order.

The holes on the front on my truck are further apart than the ones in the middle of the back does yours have that?

Thanks Rica25, yes now I see that extra hole toward the front that is further apart, glad you pointed that out. Now to get the sliders ordered, installed, and pics posted.

What manufacturer & model are those ?
It's nice that they use 4 mounting points, like OE Toyota. Many of the aftermarket steps are only using 3 mount points.

Those are sharp looking steps. I've been looking for non retractable steps with lights in them for awhile now.

Like most Tundra running boards & steps, it appears these attach to the underside of the body's sheet metal rocker panels ... so no way could you jack up the truck.
Even if these attached to the frame, like true "rock sliders", it would be unwise to use as a jack point ...

No these are not sturdy enough to use as a jack point. Unless you get true sliders that are attached to the frame like SDHQ or PP (we’re talking $1200+) then you could jack on them and be fine, just an extension of the frame at that point.

Do your sliders use factory holes? Did you have drill the frame to stall them?
