I'm a distiller, spontaneous fermentation. The ground is usually blue.

Ok ill share one pic from work, not really of my work but the result of something that happened at work. Was wrestling with a psychotic patient and I blew out my knee. The orthopedic Dr fixed me up really good and my new knee is as good or better than the one I was born with :militarypress:

Lots and lots of stories, funny, sad, crazy and interesting stories. I've been lucky to last 15 years in the ER, I don't plan on moving on any time soon. I still enjoy what I do, and I will do it as long as I physically and mentally can. The key is to leave work at work, I have for the most part been able to avoid bringing work home with me.

Definitely the key for me as well. The mental separation between work and home is so important. I've seen too many vets burn out from the mental stress. They made their profession their life. It's fine to love your job, and I really love mine. But at the end of the day, it's still just a job. It's not my life.

And, apparently I can't add. I've been a vet for 16 years, not 19. The old brain synapses ain't what they used to be.o_O

Be careful don't want you to lose you job now. Just lead them to the water and walk away....
Walk away slowly..or fast who care just don't lose yours because of them.
