So I used to have a Tacoma, which was totaled when it met a tree after some yahoo ran me off the road in the mountains. Fun times. But when they decided to total it, we decided to get something bigger that would fit my growing kids better and also be able to tow our travel trailer. I did look into the 2022's but for an extra $20K...nah.

Found a single owner vehicle one state away. Kind of interesting story, this couple bought two of the same vehicle. The guys wife traded it back in after like 6 months because she thought it was too big. Works for me!

Eventually I'll put a C4 Fab bumper on the front, sliders and skids, etc. It will take a bit though. Bonus, insurance paid me back more than I did for the Taco.

    Here's a pic:

    Great looking truck! Congratulations!

I came from a Tacoma too. I really miss it, but I don't think I could go back.

Yeah, I won't be able to do some of the offroad trails that I could with a Tacoma, but I haven't been doing as much serious stuff lately. It should do what I need. The room and seat comfort is way better.

    Congrats!

I came from a Taco also and the same story, picked up a lightly used '21 that the guy thought was too big so he traded the Tundra for a Pathfinder.

I drove it 250 miles back from the dealership and I didn't have any issue with the seat.

Some do, some don't. Many still like the major upgrade. First time I took mine nearly a thousand miles in a day was quite rough after about 6 or 700 miles. So bad that upon arrival I had to buy crutches to walk. Never had that problem driving my Fords 12-1300 in a day or my 4Runner 1100 in a day. Just saying it is a great investment if comfort is your thing. Ymmv!
