I haven't had a notification about this thread for a long time - some great photos have been added since last I visited.

I'm back in school in an MBA program and work 50 + hours a week on top of that. Leaving my office is a challenge, let alone picking up a camera..

Here's one from a few months ago in central Utah. Watched these baby osprey cry for food all day. We didn't catch much of anything, but ma and pa osprey were scooping fish out of the reservoir all day long for three days straight.

Are you recording via video specific cameras or just DSLR/mirrorless cameras? Looks like fun!

I'm a wanna-be photographer . . . but looking at Your work, I'll keep dreaming . . . lol , nothing worth posting here from my end. I surfed for 30 years . . .had a buddy who was WAY more gnarly than myself . . . he went to Samoa and came back saying, "That was the worst trip EVER"! . . . He said everything was nasty . . . corral was the sharpest he'd ever seen, waves were the heaviest he'd ever surfed, it was insanely hot, he even got one of those tattoo's where they tap on your body with a paddle and needle . . . I laughed my ass-off when he told me the story!

i'm running 3 blackmagic micro studio cameras for this one as they let me run as a one man band fairly easily.

sarcasm or did he really not enjoy it? it's definitely heavy water in spots and i came home with my fair share of love bites from the reefs. i love the south pacific though. samoa (specifically western samoa, not american samoa) is one of my favorites.

Ahh, gotta love good ole blackmagic. They make solid stuff. I will say, the color profiles on their lower end cameras have always seemed a little off to me...but minus that, they are sure hard to beat for live recording.

i've been a pocket 4k/6k user for a long time. no complaints on the color with either of those and with braw, the color is really on me. i'll continue with blackmagic as the live production side of my studio grows. it's a single eco system and i'd like to keep it that way.

besides, blackmagic is the best bang for the buck out there these days. even though all my stills gear is canon, i can't justify the cost for a c500 mkIII or even a used mkII. don't get me started on red. zcam is interesting to me but i've never played with one.

this is the first shoot where i've used the micro studio cameras. i'm still learning their quirks but, overall, pretty happy with them and what they've produced.

Stones River National Cemetery in Murfreesboro, TN. It started as the final resting place for Union soldiers of the Civil War but veterans from many conflicts since then are also interned there.

For those that don't know the significance of the coins on the headstones, here is what they mean. A penny means you visited. A nickel means you and the deceased trained at the same boot camp. A dime means you served together. A quarter means you were there when the soldier was killed.

Thanks to all who have served and are still serving.
