@COMiamiFan , Here's a pic taken on iPhone using "Slow Shutter Cam" on a very dark night with only a little moonlight. Not a great picture of anything other than showing what one can do with an iPhone using the app. At first I used the app "NightCap Pro" but it made the scene look like day, it was too bright, so then I tried Slow Shutter Cam.

Hahaha thanks man. A couple of tricks I use on iPhones:
Pre-shutter: tap, adjust, & lock on your screen your exposure and focus controls.
Post-shutter: I typically adjust the "shadows" on the stock iPhone editor. Just slightly to bring out the darker spots that didn't "pop" when I locked exposure at the beginning.

Mother Nature (or the big guy upstairs) takes care of the rest.

I find that's usually enough for viewing on the web.

Post exposure adjustments can be just like truck mods. You'll never have enough once you start messing around in photo shop. Hahahaha

But I try to keep it pretty simple. Even if I'm getting a few prints off. Overkill usually ruins a photo imo. But some folks can really get a lot out of some already great images post exposure.

Gonna have to mess around with my phone some more. Maybe it's more capable than the user. Haha

Yeah the iPhone cameras are pretty robust for a phone camera and like most things more capable than the user.
DSLRs are nice and very capable obviously, but how does the saying go?
"The best camera is the one you have with you"
With the exception of capturing the kids' sporting/dance events, etc., and patient case documentation (dental), the iPhone fits the bill 95% of the time.

2 of what I consider my personal best. Emphasis on "I" LOL. It's 2 of my kids, so might have a little bias. First pic was a Cannon 35mm. Second was IPhone.

    Oh one or two.
I use to shoot a lot of fashion. Runway shows, weddings and portrait photography. As well as food back in the day.

Sorry for the images I downloaded them from facebook as I don't have them on my phone so the image is a little distorted.
I've been out of the game for quite a while but I do shoot now and then. I just shot a wedding for my cousin in January it definitely makes me want to dust off the camera and start shooting again.
