Phone Mount Suggestions

Hi,

I bought a new larger iPhone that wont fit in my smaller Mob Armor phone mount. I like it ok and was going to just buy another but reviews on Amazon have dozens of 1 star with broken mounts so obviously the went cheap on something.

I was never that crazy about it anyways.

Any other simple secure devices in the same style?

I went with an Anker charger/mount from Amazon. Works pretty well, I like the fact that it has wireless charging while it holds the phone in place.

 

I have been using a proclip mount and am completely satisfied. They make the vehicle mount and phone cradle specific for the vehicle and phone.

I use a ram mount I put on the dash with their diamond mount. Just popped the head unit out and drilled a couple holes, bolted it down and its solid

 

+1 for the hondo mount with a RAM arm.

 

Get the mob armor metal plate. It sticks right to the magnet, no need for the phone tray. We have them in all of our F350 service trucks. We hop curbs, drive off-road, anything you can imagine and these trucks ride like bricks. My coworker also uses the same one on his trophy truck, rock solid

As above. Looks good and no fuss simple to use. A thin metallic disc glued to your phone or case. Mount is small and attached with 3m tape where you want it. The magnet is strong and holds your phone in whatever position you want it. The downside (rarely happens) is you brush or hit the phone and it will knock it off. Super convenient and hardly noticeable mount. My old otter case died and I superglued my old disc to my new case. Good as new.
The magnet has its limits. I wouldn’t recommend it for a some of the giant phones I see some people toting these days.

No mount - I place mine against the speedo cluster. There is a small lip there on the plastic trim that allows it to lay perfectly.
Doesnt slide around and I can see everything I need to, except how fast im going...lol

 

At least you can see where you are going! Some of these people on the roads have their phones/ipads blocking 50% of their peripheral!

 

How does that ICS mount to the dash?

Basically pull out surround panel, radio, use a stabilizing base under that indentation and screw in the ICS Mount. Best to have ball attachments already on mount.
