What phone holder do you use in your tundra? Looking for something that does not interfere with air vents (texas is hot and need max air flow) or the screen.

    Thanks

I put mine in the recessed area in the arm rest. I have a Google Pixel 2XL, and it fits in there like a glove, like it was made for this phone.

Opening the gap between the black and silver panels will not work for me. Things like that bother me. Or, does it close back up tight after installation?

Yeah mine currently goes in the console phone holder however we are experiencing too much growth and many construction projects are starting so I use waze all the time now and would like to be able to see the screen without taking eyes off road.

    Thanks for the replies.

ProClip dash mount with a Scosche Qi phone mount, tied together with two Ram 1" balls and a Ram short arm. Puts the phone right where I like it, keeps it charged, sturdy and doesn't block the vent and still allows full adjustment to the vent.

@Jesusquintana, I too was concerned with airflow when looking at phone mounts as it does get damned hot in Texas. All vents open and pointed at you with the AC on max.
Like @Trdwillie14, I went with the Hondo Garage un-holey mount. Threw a RAM X-Grip Mount on it. I think that it's the best mount system made.

Fits my needs perfectly. I also use it to hold a Kenwood KT-3360. I have noticed that larger phones which are protected with a "Otter" hard shell case require a little persuasion to secure and pushes design limits.
