Any oil or tranny fluid stain left on my lower driveway from a delivery truck or a contractor I have hired to do work. So now I ask them to park on the road, I really done cleaning leaking oil spots off concrete.

Because I'm a detailing extreme hobbyist my biggest pet peeve is seeing dumbass drive around with wax on their vehicle . Also hate loud chewing people who smack their lips. I could go on for days! Love this thread

People on welfare who complain about how expensive life is... People on food stamps that eat better than my wife and I and complain about cut of meats (usually hear people complaining when I'm grocery shopping) I know the card and it pisses me off because I work my ass off and don't eat as good as they do...

Your both right, David Bowie and Freddie Mercury sang this song together. Freddy died not to long after the recording.

When it snows in Texas and people start crashing left and right. If you can't drive in the snow and the weather man says its going to snow then stay home. I am originally from Maine so I know what a snow storm is.

When people from "Up North" try to convince me they know how to drive on Texas black ice.

When I was young, my Dad's employer hired a fellow from Massachusetts to help run the company. He was a nice guy, but a bit of a know it all. When the first ice storm threatened, the locals said they wouldn't be in the next day if it iced over. He laughed at them and bragged about driving in ice and snow "back home." The next day, the first person to arrive at the office answered the phone and found out that the new boss had put his car in the ditch a couple of blocks from home. He ordered the man to bring the company truck and pull him out. When the truck arrived, he ordered the driver out of the truck so he could pull his car out. After all, he didn't want someone that didn't know how to drive on ice to damage his car. He proceded to put the company truck in the ditch along with his car. He called into the office again and my Dad answered. The company also had an army truck (called a deuce and a half) on loan for a contract they were working on. My Dad fired it up and drove to get the two other vehicles out of the ditch. When he arrived, once again the boss ordered him out of the truck. It didn't work. My Dad told him to be quiet. After all, he'd already put two in the ditch. The new boss didn't argue. My Dad the pulled both out and followed them to the office. You may know what a snow storm is, but Texas Black Ice is something entirely different. Down here, we have warm roads that melt whatever falls, then freezes over during the night. The resulting surface closely resembles buttered glass. The locals know to stock up on necessities when bad weather is forecast, and to stay at home until it clears. A few have to brave the elements due to job requirements, but the rest sit back and wait for things to thaw. The transplants are the ones that are the most fun to watch.

I can relate. Colorado can dump 4 feet of snow and we get a 1 hour school delay. Back in GA we would get 2 inches and 8 lane interstates filled with people that couldnt get anywhere. Ice builds up and no tire can maneuver around without high end studded tires. In CO I can safely pass people because I am properly prepared. 99% percent of the time it's people that don't understand local weather/road conditions.

Everybody's Big Ball Billy until they are upside down, or in your dad's story...in a freaking ditch.

I understand that in Germany, you can get a ticket for having non-winter-type tires on your vehicle.

Even if the vehicle comes with directional sport tire, you still have to shed them.

They've got something similar in the CO mountains now because too many knuckleheads(Texans or Boulder girls) were driving in 2WD with bald or street tires and ending up in the ditch or worse. Pretty steep fines for not having equipment for mountain driving.

My biggest pet peeve is when my wife stops the microwave before it beeps then doesn't clear the timer out. Then I look to see what time it is and I have to go over and clear it. Not the biggest deal but it happens three or four times a day. I finally told her it bothers me, so now she does it every time she uses the damn thing. I've always heard you shouldn't tell people where you hide your goat...
