I have a 2015 Tundra CM 4x2, with 5.7 and TRD S/C. It runs very well. Went from stock 15.3 @ 92 mph to 13.2 @ 104 after S/C. My problem is, I can't get it to "hook-up". Wheel spin and wheel hop a big issue. I installed light weight helper spring to rear leafs which helped quite a bit, but the truck rides like a "Buck board". I saw traction bars available for 4x4 but not 4x2's. I also found "Lakewood" traction bars at JC whitney but want some input from others about how they solved the problems. Drag radials would help, but I am old, 73, and am not able to change tires for race days.

Also, any ideas as to cooling the s/c. In Florida, two back to back runs needs 1/2 to 3/4 hour to cool down so it doesn't "stumble" on acceleration.

I love the truck, but I always want a little bit more. I thought I would grow out of that, but not so far. Thanks for input. Have fun, be safe....

    As others have said:

    -limited slip or selectable locker
-to cool your SC, look at Snow Performance Meth injection. If you decide to go methinal injection, don't go cheap on a controller/system. Trust me on that.
-buy some Nitto or other brand street drag radials.
-these guys do traction bars for our trucks.

I've heard of Calvert Racing. All good. Had a friend in Van Nuys back in 1999 who was into car racing. Pretty sure he ran with Calvert wheelie bars and spring setup on his 69 Camaro SS. 100% positive actually.

They make just about anything one could want for racing. Good stuff.
