I might be biased but I think you can drop all the non-Tundra work.

Had my bumper installed by the Pelfreybilt family the week before last. Was very impressed by the shop, lots going on. The install was perfect they walked me through everything before and after, ensuring I was satisfied. Thanks guys, was worth the drive over from Phoenix.

So two days after the install I’m am parked, yes parked, backed into a slot at a Starbucks in San Clemente, sitting in the truck and this broad screams around the corner in a Porsche and hammers the front bumper. Truck is high enough the Porsche goes mostly under, her headlight was smashed and about a 4 foot scrape down the passengers quarter panel. The only damage to the Pelfreybilt was paint. The bolts did not even jar or move, checked things thoroughly. Buffed most of the Porsche paint off and am running strong. These things are tough!

Looking good and good to hear it stood up to the parking lot abuse.

Any possible dates of when those double cab sliders will be available? Also if you need a double cab for testing the new sliders ;)

We scanned our buddy Chad's Tundra, just waiting to start cutting new plates or see if the ones we have are worth adapting to a universal type (we typically dont like doing this unless it works perfectly, we wont compromise one for the other)

For anyone thinking of cancelling an order with @pelfreybilt I offer my experience as food for thought.
I initially called on August 6th.
The first 5 business days or so that passed was an employee checking with the owners to see if they would work with me on the 20% restock/admin fee. This employee stated that the owners were holding firm at 20% because they've received a lot of cancellations recently. OK fine. My responsibility for the cancellation. Here we are today, many emails and phone calls later - order still isn't cancelled and haven't received a refund.

Edit - Call back a few hours later and speak to accounts receivable. Order is in cancelled status and they state that the refund should be issued within a few days. Thanks.

I'm ready for a front bumper.

I wonder if the 2nd gen version will have taller/higher mounting brackets to fit right under the grille. I really hope so.

We unfortunately do not process our refunds in house but have a financial team that manages that and they manage more than one account so typically we only have to wait a day and then it is processed in 1-3 days. The fact that anyone opted to help you with the 20% is great, because we almost never waiver on that aspect. We appreciate your feedback as we continue to do our best to improve.

I’m trying to place a order and having a tough time. Everything is out of stock online, not getting a response to my emails, DM’s or phone calls. Pelfreybilt what’s up?! Spending several thousand dollars shouldn’t be this difficult.

These guys are usually pretty good with correspondence. I'll see what I can do to rouse them.

Seems like they’ve gone MIA. Other forms are now filled with rumors. Hopefully everything is okay.

They've probably heeded the advice of many here and put all hands on deck working on the 2nd-gen-high-clearance-low-profile-extra-lightweight-aluminum-front-bumper

I've had a hard time getting in touch with them as well. Refund that I received wasn't what I was told I was going to receive. Called - no answer, left a message - no return call, sent email - no reply.
