This GB needs to be cross-posted at other tundra/offroad sites if it hasn't already.

Also most people probably don't own their 3rd Gens (their banks do) and are still making monthly payments. Combined with the fear of a scratch keeping them on the pavement and not modding their trucks.

Just my opinion. If they made an aluminum plate bumper for the 2nd Gen they would already have my money at least.

I agree with you, but the other forum has certain rules that won't let me post any type of GB/Feeler on there. Linking this forum on another forum would probably be frowned upon.

I think a lot of it is bad timing. Holidays, Christmas spending, property taxes... I bet in February when everyone is getting some money back, more would be in to commit.

I’m interested. It’s a great deal and quality product. But I’m not posting that I am interested. Because I can’t commit to $1600.00 right now.

I was very interested when I heard about the bumper a few months ago, I messaged Tyler several times with great response time and information. I know it is a great bumper, just the price with all the add ons and shipping cost moved it out of reach for me.

These are nice. Yes I want. No I can’t afford both of them yet. Doesn’t mean I’m not saving. And they are super close to my home.

Gaaahh...I live in San Diego, would I be able to pick up the bumper to avoid shipping cost and not affect the group buy?

    1. Any info on recovery points for the front? Can't tell by the pics.
    2. What are the winch options? I see holes to access the winch, which means it doesn't have to be wireless.
    3. Does the factory TRD skid still mount up? Some of bumpers from other manufactures don't let you.
    4. Are the light cutouts specific to Baja Design on the front? Some of us run the same size of light, but different manufacturer.

Very good questions Jonnie! I don’t think I’m the best person to answer them though.

Great questions, sorry for the delay in answering.
The front recovery points that come from the factory are used. They are very nice recovery points and allow for a cleaner bumper without integrating the recovery points into the bumper. There is clearance in the bumper to allow easy access to the factory points.
Winch options are pretty universal, there is a good amount of space. Some solenoids may need to be relocated a bit but not many. I have the Zeon 12-s and it fits nice and tight, its one of the larger winches available as far as overall size goes.
I cannot answer for the TRD skid, mine was removed with the lift installation so Ill need to check into that asap
The light cutouts are specific to baja to an extent. Just about any "pod" light will work for the fog lights but the profile is intended for bajas. The LED bar cutout and mounting points are specific to a baja S8 but the end mounting width is pretty standard with a few other manufacturers. We use these standards that the more reputable companies use since the overseas cheap stuff is changing all the time, whats in the picture is not always what arrives on the brown truck.

I don’t think I can fork over the money right now, but I do foresee the bumper in my future. @socalduckslayer will there be skid plates in the near future? I might be more willing to jump on that before a bumper

Skids will likely come this year. Were buttoning up several larger new products and when complete we will move onto some new items like skids and other small accessories for several platforms.

I’d be in for a front bumper if I can keep my factory skid plate
