I found the PC better...especially since you can play with various settings. One of the best maid investments I have made. I have mine set on City+2 most of the time.

I find in tow/haul the truck selects odd gears/ revs higher when driving whereas the PC gives you the same sharp throttle response but doesn’t alter the transmission or shifting times. The PC is set and forget once you find what setting you like the most (mine is Sport +2)

One of my neighbors was throwing some new LED backup lights in his '14, and when he was done, I threw him my keys and told him to drive my truck around, while I was playing with the PC settings. He ordered the PC the next day, and is loving it!

Two different things. PC is not a Tuner, it just tweaks the accelerator electronically. Very easy install, plug and play.
BD can add HP and adjust shift points, probably much more. Install and setup a bit more in depth.

It's not a tuner but most of us have it to eliminate the sluggish throttle response. There are no tuners for the 4.6 either, so the PC wakes it up.

    Stock for now...
I wouldn’t put a tuner on a Tundra that still has factory power train warranty remaining. I love the adjustability of the PC, just took a 1600 mile trip with my family of five last weekend and turned the PC to ECO since I didn’t care and was going to be cruising forever.

Got to my destinations, snapped it into Sport++ and had a blast. Back into ECO for the trip home. as you can see, I have mine mounted on the driver side of my center tunnel to the Victory Molle Panel.

Just ordered mine for my 2019, had the sprint booster on my 2017 TRD Pro 4runner and it was a game changer. Looking forward to seeing what this does.

Received mine today. :) Hooked it up, set it to City+2, and took it for a blast. After awhile of driving started getting some serious surging under certain situations, not a happy camper. :annoyed: Brought it home, shut it down and let it sit for about an hour. Decided to try a different setting, so set it at Sport -3, and Wow what a difference. Not sure if the ECU just needed a little time to adjust, but the surging seems to be gone even in the City+modes. Will do some more experimenting tomorrow, but my truck really seems to love the Sport -3. :thumbsup:IMG_0660.jpg

Had mine for 4 days now. I've got it set to City +3. No need to push the tow/haul button any longer.

Installed on my 2020. Worked well for two weeks then started surging. Unconnected and reconnected. Same thing. I returned it.

Installed it on my 2020, had it on my '18. If it's surging you just need to dial it in to your taste. I mean there's what 4 modes with 8 submodes? The fine adjustment is wide ranging.

Update on my Pedal Commander. I've run it for a few days now and was skeptical about the gas mileage increase claims. Typically I get about 12.8 on the display when I baby it on a drive to and from work (70mph on highway for 30 miles and about 10 miles at 45mph).

Today I got 13.5 with the PC.

Had a chance after work tonight to do some experimenting with the settings. For some reason my truck is not impressed, or even happy with any of the City modes as i thought it would be from reading all the folks here who love to run on City+2. Started at Sport-3 which i liked yesterday, and worked my way forward to Sport+2 like aussieaarons recommended, and love it as well!

My understanding is Sport is even more aggressive than City? I was literally screeching tires on dry pavement with City +2. I think Sport anything would be a smoke show.

I thought so too but maybe their mapping isn't as linear as one might have thought? All i can say is don't be afraid to go into regular Sport mode + or - to see how your truck responds.

City +2 seems to work best for me, but I'm running 37" tires too, so no spinning the tires at all on mine.

    2020 Tundra Platinum
Tried Sport this AM and even though it’s supposed to be more “aggressive” I thought tip-in was more manageable than in City. Could all be in my head...who knows. Still really liking how it makes the truck more responsive. I know it doesn’t add HP or torque but it feels like it does.
