Got my pedal commander Saturday. Very quick shipping, bought direct as the Amazon seller wasn't clear on Bluetooth or not.

    It's going back.

I like the City settings more or less. -2 or so seems a good balance. What I don't like, however, is the surging or on/off feeling when cruising on the hwy. I suspect this is a function of barely having the foot on the pedal.

I have not heard of this issue. Did you try or notice the surging in different modes?

    just under $300 IIRC.

Happened at various levels in city mode. I'm not a tech guy and don't know how PC does its thing but what it felt like to me was kinda like if you hold a light switch just so and the lights will flicker on and off...but with the throttle. Foot was barely on the throttle.

I keep mine on city +2 and haven't had any issues. The only thing I've experienced and it's only happened one time was a stutter or hesitation after going from +2 down to -1 on the fly. Got home, turned the truck off, restarted and everything was fine and it hasn't happened since. I have noticed that the pedal is a bit more touchy on bumpy roads but haven't noticed it on the highway.

I have no such issues with my PC. I keep it on City +1. Runs smooth on the highway, no jerkiness noticed.

So I switched to sport -3 to see how it felt before pulling the unit.

apparently sport at those levels is much smoother initial tip in than city. might keep it....
