I had that same issue and experience with Larry addressing the issue very quickly.

Great addition to the truck. Very happy so far!

Send them an email and they'll get back to you. You send them your SN on the PC (also shows up in the app if you've already connected to it via Bluetooth)
They push the update to the PC and it shows up in the app and you simply turn key to ON but don't start and let it update

I will say it's not the same as before and not as noticeable but it's WAY better as far as "twitchiness" and I can use all the modes now without getting any hesitations or errors

Agreed, it feels dialed back some. But still much better than stock.

I’ve also found myself gradually stepping up the modes every other stoplight ... just to see what it’s like. :D

Patrick, have you decided on your favorite setting yet? I spent about 2 weeks going back and forth and found Sport+2 is the definitive winner. :)

Hey John!...I would have to say my favorite for every day driving is city +2, but I constantly go back and forth...lol...depends on my mood and if I have the family with me, that’s what I love about this thing...the ability to adjust and tweak in a matter of a couple seconds...I did notice that when towing the boat I will go down to city +0 and use tow/haul like usual, just feels more smooth when towing

    Hey All,

Just curious... Has anyone set it to the most ECO setting to see if there were any MPG gains?

I'm curious to hear if it has helped anyone improve MPG as well.

I intended to test this myself but the throttle response was abysmal even at Eco +4. It "felt " unsafe and worse than OEM. Looking at the documentation's response graph I can see why. I ended up back at Sport -4 where I saw modest improvements.

I'm not convinced it will make it better and could possibly make things worse. Driving style/habits and terrain will probably have more impact on MPG than this device.

Did you try at ECO -4? Supposedly that's the most economical mode.

If you're interested in saving gas on your Tundra and think this is the solution, you will probably be very disappointed. As much as i love my P/C, i have no idea why they included this mode into their otherwise excellent product. Its like sticking a brick underneath the pedal of an already sluggish stock throttle response. Just my 2 cents of course, but spend some time experimenting with all the other different modes you have to choose from, and you will ultimately find what you, and your truck loves best.

No. I couldn't bear it. It was like a slug.

I don't think I would be a good test case for this anyhow. Main issue is I use radar cruise control for the majority of my driving. As far as I can tell, PC only comes into play when the pedal is actuated; its not doing anything when cruise control is accelerating the vehicle.

On another forum, someone made the case that the more aggressive modes are actually better for MPG. The heart of the argument: the quicker the engine can get into the optimal RPM band the better for overall MPG. It wasn't the only factor but it was a contributing one. Top speed was a big factor too; I think anything above 69-70MPH, MPGs started tanking. Driving style/habits/behavior were also critical. It was your typical "How to get more MPGs?" thread but with a lab coat and spread sheets.

I would be surprised if an ECO mode PC got anything over +0.5MPG.

20% I wonder what are the conditions and set up needed to for that type of gains... May it is driving through Indiana (flat) at 55 mph with 16" rims and summer tires.
