I’m with you guys on this issue. I should have just kept my Laramie. This Tundra is just a plastic rattle trap for $60+k shouldn’t be the case.

I've noticed it's worse when when I've left my truck outside rather than in the garage (i.e., when it's cold). I've come to the conclusion it's the velcro that holds the headliner to the roof. I'm not aware of a solution yet.

I am right there with you, should have never bought a Toyota. I was sold on the Toyota reputation and turns out I bought the shittiest one they have ever built.

I'm guessing you haven't had any serious issues with your truck? I agree, the interior noises are annoying but small issues that eventually will have a solution. Rather have the small issues than the big ones.

Im not sure why you would you guess that. I’ve had two wiring harnesses go bad, one in drivers door and one in the dash. My entire interior has basically already been apart by the dealer, within the first month of ownership.

The platinum trim on the sides of the truck has fallen off and been replaced twice now.

I’ve also been driving around with the camera missing from my passenger mirror and a big dent on the door from it for a month now.

I hear you though.. frustrating for a brand new truck. I hope the dealership can/will fix those issues for you.

Thanks. Not necessarily brand new though. I’ve had it for almost 8 months now, 28k miles. I’ve been trying to be patient as I know there are not many better options out there as far as half ton pick-ups go. It seems like something is constantly going wrong with this truck.

You having the headliner noise too? Did the dealer have anything to say about that one?

I did and the dealer said there was a headliner clip that was not pressed in all the way and it was sagging low. Not sure what they did exactly, I think they just pressed it back in. All good now. Just battling rear passenger side door rattle now.

I had a build date in the latter part of 2022. I haven't had any issues outside of some interior rattles/noises. Knock on wood

They replaced the weather stripping on the passenger side and it seems to have gone away for now.

I got my 23 SR5 about 3 weeks ago and both my driver and passenger front doors rattle from time to time. I had to turn the bass down to almost a minimum because it rattles so bad. Plus the driver side center consul release button rattles like an SOB. Have an appointment to have the dealership look at it next week. Hopefully its an easy fix.

I do, but compared to the other interior noises, it's at the bottom of my priority list.

So far I have been lucky with exterior issues. My main issues so far are the door and center consul rattles and the HVAC is very weak. Very little air blows out of the face vents.

I fixed my front passenger door rattle myself. I pulled the door panel and found that there was a wiring harness between the outer and inner skin of the door (had to pull off the plastic access panel on the inner skin secured in place with the blue twist clips). The wiring harness had two plastic clips that weren't snapped into place on the inner skin. It is easy enough to identify because the clips line up perfectly with the holes in the inner skin.

My issue was when the audio had certain bass frequencies in it, the door would rattle and was annoying as hell. I have always made it a habit of replacing the door clips with new ones on the panel to avoid any new rattles. They are cheap, and it is good peace of mind. It is an amazing feeling (I know that is a bit dramatic) to be rid of that rattle!!!!

I've got a new rattle on some frequencies of bass that sounds like it's coming from the weatherstripping near the rear portion of my driver window but I can't pinpoint it exactly. Anyone else experience this?

Took my truck in today to have the dealership look at the rattle in the doors and the loose driver side center console button. Just text me that that both are totally normal because the two other Tundras on the lot do the same thing. They provided no fix or help. I filed a case with Toyota. Should hear back on Monday from a case manager.

    Yeah,

I’ve had mine in 4 more times since. New headliner has been ordered, all new seals, they can’t figure out what’s rattling under the bed of the truck, finally got my new front emblem on that blew off the truck while driving, New spare tire assembly has been ordered because that just broke and fell off. Said there is no fix for the sunroof holding water. Every time it is opened water pours into the interior it’s a pretty nice waterfall feature. And my driver door now opens on its own while driving, so that’s a cool new feature as well, for quick and easy exits.

I have noticed my front passenger door rattling on several occasions and it does seem to be with songs that have more bass. I pulled over, got out and went to sit in the passenger seat, but I couldn't tell where it was coming from. I rolled the window down and then back up, and that did not correct it. Please share once a solution has been found.

Did you get a response? I called them and got a guy I think was in Nigeria. Took my issue (not your issue) down, gave me a case number, and never heard from Toyo again. Rotten customer service. At least GM or Chrysler would eventually call me back and say tough sh*t here is a free oil change or a couple of months of OnStar. I guess with 1-800 Toyo you just assume your own tough sh*t

Nope nothing I sold it. I had turbos have blow by oil, the pano roof was leaking into the truck, all the doors rattled to hell, my spare tire assembly came off truck while driving, emblems fell off truck while driving, driver door actually pushed open after the “new” seals were installed. Nothing was ever corrected and they never knew when parts were going to come in.

Came with all weather mats, spray in bed liner, front window tint, dash cam, bed extender, power running boards, Avs (advanced package) 4x4
How did they adjust the latch I loosened screws and it did not move at all. Maybe I have to take the door apart. At first I thought is was the window moving but it is actually door moving against main body of the truck, if you push on all the door windows the doors make the sound, but for some reason only passenger front does it while driving.
