There's a parts truck near me with a rusted frame that looks to have good parts that would be useful on mine. However, it's a standard cab long bed, mine is an access cab short bed. Here's what I'd want to swap:

    • Front bench seat
    • Driver's inside door panel
    • Front fenders
    • Hood
    • 4WD actuators
    • Taillights
Some of those would absolutely work, but I don't know if the front sheet metal or the seats are the same.

Also, it doesn't have the fender flares, would they be easy to swap over?

    Thanks.

Everything should fit fine then. For the flares I'm not sure on.

Should all fit assuming your truck has the factory flares (there’s holes on the body for them)

My truck has the flares but the donor vehicle doesn't. I want to swap the fenders but keep the flares. Will I need to drill holes in the donor fenders?

Yes I believe their square. Honestly I wouldn’t grab the fenders and just hunt down some others with the holes

There's nothing wrong with my fenders, except that the clear coat has failed on the top edge. The donor truck is the same color, so I was planning on swapping the whole front for better paint. If I have to modify the fenders, I may just swap out the hood.

I'm wrapping up my timing belt this afternoon and may try to go look at it later today. He's not sure the 4WD works either, so if I can't verify that it may not be worth it.

Columbus Ohio area, and it's that pearlescent silver/tan exterior with a tan interior.

Here's the ad, but it evidently sold over the weekend. I looked more closely at the pictures and saw what looked like clear coat failure on the hood, like mine but not as dramatic. He couldn't confirm that. That and he couldn't tell me if the 4WD worked. That meant the only certain reason to buy were the seats. Combine that with little space to store it and I had pretty much already decided to pass.

There’s two Tundras at the LKQ in Dayton if you wanted to make the drive. Not sure what they look like now that it’s been awhile since it first showed up. I salvaged a skid plate from one of them for my DC

Huh, that looks like the same as mine and I would have called it tan. Oh well, I should have jumped on it. Part of my hesitation was not having the room here. We have 4 dailies, the Tundra and, my Tbird and only a two car garage and room for 4 in the driveway.

There's one in the pick and pull here in Columbus, I need to go take a look. I didn't buy mine to look good, so it's not that big of a deal. It's my Home Depot runner, backup vehicle and snow vehicle to keep my BMW out of the salt. I would like a seat with some outer edge padding, though. 290K has taken its toll.

Will the door shells themselves fit?

I found a pair of good condition acess cab doors at the junkyard but none off a regular cab
