    @Roman or anyone else know the part number for the tube in the pic attached? Mine somehow got bent and I noticed it when I did my oil change today.

    Ouch! how that happen? Sorry dont know # can you bend back with some needle nose pliers? are those TRD oil filters any better than stock oem ones?

    I have no idea.. it seems that maybe when I threaded the cap back on the tube was at an angle and didn't line up with the female end inside the filter housing itself.

    IIRC, I read somewhere (someone else did the comparison) that the TRD filter has thicker and more pleats. I mostly use them for peace of mind since I'd assume Toyota wouldn't make them separate from the regular filters for no reason.

    Yes, except to make that one work, you have to use the tube from your old filter housing. It's for a Venza and isn't quite the same length. Since your tube is damaged, you would have to buy the new Tundra housing AND the Venza housing to make it work.

    Tis' true. But it would save from having to buy two canisters. It's up to you, OP. You could order the OEM Tundra can and use it, order the Venza and Tundra cans and swap to a metal one using OEM parts, or go with the aftermarket one. Let us know which route you take. :)

    Bringing this thread back since i have no more free oil changes.. if i swap the tube from my oem filter housing to the venza metal housing, it will be the correct length right roman?
