    Waistband Boner!!!! @batman trademark

The glass was an awesome upgrade. I was surprised on the glueing procedure, but makes sense considering there's no sub-frame to attach to. Any weight reduction or more of a functional mod? I’m thinking about using glass on some of my junk.

I only get emails for a few threads on this site...this being one of them.

    Keep up the great work!

LMAO! awesome thanks!! And yeah the glue surprised me too, but thats how they attach factory panels on some cars so it works..

ummm on the weight thing.. not sure its much diff from stock to this, maybe slightly lighter? idk.. but it was purely for function.. ill be making a change in the next month that require it.

you would be very correct with that guess... yeah ill give you a spoiler.. King 3.0 16" triple bypasses (being built as we type) , Deaver custom LT SUA leafs (sitting in my garage), bed cage (@M C M when matt gets it done and sent to me), 2.0 king bumps (also being built for me ) and one other surprise that will need pics to show it.. that one you will see in a few weeks.

Also planning on 5.29 gears from motive, but they just emailed me back and said early june release on those. So i have to wait .. Ill be throwing in an arb rear locker as well when the gears go in.

    FN A!!!!

I figured you might be diving into these waters. That will be next level stuff right there.

    You doing 4” 2.0 bumps?

I have never heard anything but great things coming from @M C M

Since your doing a bed cage, have you thought about doing trailing arms instead of leaf packs? I understand the cost goes up significantly (just wondering if that might be in the plans way later) with another set of COs and fab work. I just want your opinion on this setup. I may know a guy that might want to use this setup on a Jeep. ;)

    Thanks!~!

Yeah that is pretty much accurate... although I save a bit by doing all the labor myself!

SOOOO here is the thing with tailing arms and 3/4 link setups.. awesome off road, can get way more travel and flex out of them... but and the big BUT they suck on road. Now with jeeps its tough because thats how they come in some cases, but you will notice jeeps dont really go fast off road. and they handle like poop on road. Honestly I dislike jeeps all around but I get the appeal. I am not going with trailing arms. I want to stay with leafs. @osidepunker can add thoughts here. But yes cost is much higher, lot more fab work... ive seen what alex does with his truck and Im good with leafs.

I have always liked Alex’s truck, and from the vids I’ve seen at Over 70 mph, no reason to reinvent the wheel.

I’m not a big Jeep guy either, what surprises some people. To be quite frank, for the most part are big pieces of shit that needs everything swapped out with GM parts. If I lived out your way again, no way in hell I would have a Jeep. For now, it just makes sense to beat the crap out of them in CO. Jeeps are cheap and as plentiful as Subaru’s...lol

    Leafs are for trees....

Unless your like these guys and have 8k lbs trucks. Linked set up is way more weight sensitive. If you know what your doing, they drive great on the street still.

Nah i know, i talk to him quite a bit, Im sure he gets annoyed with my random txt msgs :anonymous:

I told him straight up my cage isnt needed till mid may, because I have to wait on my kings for the LT rear to be built anyway.. so no point having a cage just sitting around taking up space. Plus i need to clean up the garage and prep for the LT build.
